This course is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to using the Robot Operating System (ROS / ROS2) in the context of the Unitree Go1 quadruped robot. Students will learn how to use ROS / ROS2 for both low and high level control of the robot, including how to configure and launch ROS nodes, publish and subscribe to topics, and use ROS packages for robotics applications.
