The RoboMaster Tello Talent is the newest Tello drone from DJI and there are some exciting new features. As part of the ‘Advanced Tello programming with Python’ series, we will be taking a deep dive into the new features such as programming the top LED and the 8x8 matrix display. You will learn how to use Python to control the new lights so you can add these to your projects to provide visual feedback as you fly your missions.

Did we mention missions? In this course, we are also going to take a look at how to use the RoboMaster Tello Talent Mission Pads. We will learn how to detect when the TT is close to a mission pad, which mission pad it is and how we use that information to create some interesting challenges.

Did we mention challenges? This course will have a number of challenges so you can put what you learned into practice. We will also show you how we solved the challenge so you can compare your solution to ours. There is always more than one way to conquer a challenge.

As an added bonus, in this course, we have created a web interface to control the Tello and Tello Talent drones. With this familiar interface, you can be up and flying quickly. I hope you will join me for an exciting journey learning how to apply Python programming to the RoboMaster Tello Talent.
